In 2000 the Society also established a new developmental scholarship for students in need of financial support to continue their piano study and expanded this program in 2002. In 2011 it was rededicated to our long-time board member and scholarship chairperson Professor Harriet Chase upon her retirement. The award winners are selected by the Board in consultation with the candidates’ teachers.
