Developmental Scholarships Award Program.

The Developmental Scholarships Award Program. The main purpose for the Steinway Society is to encourage young people to develop their musical talents. This scholarship program, instituted in 2000 and expanded in 2002, is designed for students in need of financial support to continue their piano study. The award winners are selected by the Board in consultation with the candidates' teachers. We congratulate Samajay Williams, (student of Julia Kovalev) of the Trenton Community Music School, who was honored at the November 29, 2010 Musicale.
