In 2000 the Society also established a new developmental scholarship for students in need of financial support to continue their piano study and expanded this program in 2002. The award winners are selected by the Board in consultation with the candidates' teachers.

We congratulate this years award winner: Samajay Williams, and his teacher Julia Kovalev who were honored at the November 29th 2009 Musicale.
